The Voluntary Residential Services Oversight (VRSO) program partners licensed mental health professionals with child and family teams to provide clinical oversight to youth in residential treatment facilities. These youth have been voluntarily placed by their parents and this placement is state funded.

VRSO clinicians work with the parents, assigned wraparound facilitator, and residential providers to ensure these youth and their families are receiving evidenced-based individual and family treatment modalities. VRSO clinicians also assist the team in treatment planning, treatment interventions, and discharge planning that includes identifying community based and sustainable aftercare services.
